Kamrie McCandless is a recent Dance graduate of Brigham Young University-Idaho. Kamrie grew up dancing in her hometown with the marvelous Miss Paunie Van Orden. While attending BYU-Idaho, time was well spent being guided through dance studies and participating in different companies. Dance Alliance, the school's touring company is one she was able to share in three different times. First under the direction of Wendy Bone to the Pacific Northwest, second with Jennifer Wadsworth to New England, third with Gary Larsen to Central Canada. She also had the chance to teach one the begining jazz technique classes as well as help co-direct the Collegiate Contemporary company. Upon graduation and moving to Provo, Kamrie has enjoyed the opportunity to be able to participate with the Wasatch Contemporary Dance Company, under the direction of Jessica Heaton, for it's past two seasons. Kamrie is planning on continuing her education and working toward becoming a Dance/Movement Therapist. “To move is to live,” is her statement about life.
